Welcome to Tally ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Apple Watch application and companion iOS app.
2. Information We Collect
Tally is designed with a local-first architecture. We collect minimal data:
- Match Data: Scores, match settings, and game history are stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
- Purchase Information:Payment for the app is processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.
- Device Information: We may collect basic device information (device model, OS version) solely for crash reporting and app compatibility purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
The limited data we may collect is used exclusively for:
- App Functionality: Providing core score tracking features and maintaining your local match history.
- Crash Reporting: Identifying and fixing bugs to improve app stability.
- App Improvement: Understanding general usage patterns (anonymized) to improve the user experience.
4. Data Storage & Security
All match data is stored locally on your Apple Watch and/or paired iPhone using secure on-device storage. We do not operate cloud servers for user data storage. Your scores and match history remain entirely on your devices.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics services that track individual users. Any crash reporting data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: All your data is already on your device and accessible to you.
- Deletion: You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app from your device. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling removes everything.
- Portability: Your match history is available within the app on your device.
7. Children's Privacy
Tally does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is a general-audience score tracking utility that does not require account creation or personal data input.
